Store Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join our Londonderry Store NI, at Barnardo's, for 35 hours per week.

About the role

Are you a values driven retail leader who wants more than just hitting targets? As Store Manager, you'll lead a community hub that turns generosity into vital support for children, young people and families across the UK.

Ideal candidate must have:

• Ability to interpret, implement and advise on procedural guidance from line management and to issue appropriate instructions
• Ensuring the successful achievement of results through the effective planning and management of resources,
• The need to lead groups of people to work effectively together.
• Working within fashion retail, regarding floor layouts, merchandising, customer service. Making use of basic IT, administration and simple analysis of figures.
• Flexible approach to working hours

Some but not all key responsibilities are:

• Lead and develop Store Associates and volunteers, to maximise sales and profit   
• while managing costs and budgets
• Encourage donations and manage the Gift Aid process to drive profits
• Maintain outstanding shop presentation and standards
• Deliver national and local fundraising campaigns
• Ensure compliance with financial, security, safeguarding and H&S procedures
