Horizon Sure Start  are looking for a Creche Supervisor, based in St. Anthony's Primary School site in Larne (Maternity cover).

We are seeking  applicants with NVQ Level 3 or above in Childcare with demonstrable  experience of working with 0-4 year olds in a pre-school setting to join our multi - disciplinary team.  Horizon Sure Start  aims to improve the ability to learn by encouraging stimulating play and improving language skills. Early identification and support of children with learning difficulties and this will be a key part of this role therefore a sound knowledge of child development is essential. You will also have good observation and written skills to record and monitor progress accurately and provide action plans, reviews and reports for individual children, recognising different needs.

You will be required to  lead the creche team and work with a multi - disciplinary team, including external agencies to improve health and social development.

Location: Horizon Sure Start Larne  - Based in St. Anthony's Primary School  

Contract: Maternity Cover (Fixed Term - 26th August 2025 - 30th June 2026)

Salary: £28,360.80 - £35,811.57  FTE (paid pro rata)

Hours: 16hpws Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 1.00pm  Term Time Maternity Cover
