Public Affairs and Campaigns Officer


Barnardo's Policy and Public Affairs Team aims to improve the lives of children through influencing public policy and practice. We use evidence based research with our service users and policy analysis to campaign and lobby across Government and through the media. We are driven by a relentless determination to effect positive sustained change.


Bringing in-depth knowledge of current parliamentary and legislative processes and an understanding of the UK policy context on a range of issues impacting on the most vulnerable children, you'll need proven experience of delivering successful public affairs campaigns. The ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences is also important, together with excellent written and team working skills.
