The role includes one-to-one support for children with disabilities in their own homes, or in the local community, and is an individualised package of support depending on their needs. The children within our service may have complex health needs or challenging behaviour, and we offer individualised training depending on the young people whom you will be working with.

Depending on availability, workers may be linked to working with several different families.

We also provide group support sessions on Saturdays, which require staffing.

The role is an “As and When” position and the allocation of hours will be based around the worker's availability, however the majority of work will be either after-school or weekends.

The project offers an on-call management and support service to support workers, as well as entry to a pension scheme, regular supervision, training and support sessions.
